As a well-respected and veteran tax attorney, Alan Jahde approaches wealth preservation challenges from a place of, “yes.” He strives to connect advisors to innovative solutions that provide their clients with custom, tax-efficient, and lawful strategies.
His passion for tax efficiency is illustrated by more than 42 years of experience in private placement life insurance and annuities, dynasty trusts, LLCs, and related real estate and income tax planning structures.
Alan completed advanced training in taxation while earning his Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. After practicing law in Nebraska and then Colorado, he went on to co-found, in 1995, the law firm of Anderson & Jahde, P.C. The firm focused on international income and estate planning, private placement insurance, charitable giving, defined benefit pension planning, and tax controversy.

Since bringing private placement solutions onshore with Investors Preferred in 2013, Alan has helped hundreds of sophisticated investors access U.S.-based solutions that generally offer less complexity, lower costs, more attractive minimums, and the ability to fund a new policy with “in-kind” transfers of an existing portfolio.
Alan has been active in a variety nonprofits and associations over the years. He’s served as a board member and in board leadership roles for numerous nonprofit boards, as well as for two homeowner’s associations.
