This month, our “get to know” series introduces the world to another of our amazing team members who works behind the scenes, David Nilsen. David is an Operations Lead.

What is your role with Investors Preferred?

My role with Investors Preferred is Operations Lead.

Where did you grow up and go to school?

I am born and raised in Arizona. I attended the University of Arizona for my Undergraduate Degree in Business Management and attended the University of Phoenix for my MBA.

What led you to a career in financial services and how did you find your way to Investors Preferred?

I previously worked in the mortgage industry for several years as an accountant, but always wanted to work in the financial industry. Nikki gave me the opportunity as Senior Accountant and was promoted to Operations two years later.

What do you find interesting about PPLI?

That no two policies are the same. Every client can structure their policy to benefit their status quo.

What do you wish more people understood about PPLI?

PPLI is an indispensable tool to help create generational wealth.

Why should a prospective policyholder work with IPL?

IPL’s support team is second to none. When a client reaches out with a question, they are answered without delay. Our leadership team is never out of reach for a client either. We prioritize taking care of the client first because everything else follows when we do.

What are your Top Three television series that you are currently watching?

Currently it seems like I have one per subscription service so not very efficient on that front.
