Alex draws on more than 10 years of experience in financial services compliance. He has a deep understanding of the regulatory, legal, and contractual landscape facing financial institutions and their clients, and has extensive experience working with state and federal regulators.

His passion for navigating statutory mazes and complex regulations is grounded by his early experience in patent law, criminal defense, and international logistics.

Prior to joining Investors Preferred in 2023, Alex served as a director at The Amherst Group, a private equity firm specializing in residential real estate, and an officer of Ophrys, LLC, an RIA and captive law firm focusing on M&A and bankruptcy assets.

He earned his law degree from Seattle University and Bachelor’s degrees in both philosophy and political science from Western Washington University.
